Getting started is free!

Getting started with .geographical media is free.  When you sign up you will get a blank website workspace at a sub domain
(ie: http://yoursite.geokits.com) of your choosing where you will be able to build your website. 

Once you have designed your site it will be time to "Go-Live" with and publish it on the web either with your own domain name or with the sub domain you have chosen.   Before you go live you must purchase our "Active Hosting" plan from .geographical media which includes 1 GB of hosting space, domain mapping of your domain to your new website and integration in the .geographical media network.

Upgrading Your Website

We strongly believe that you should pay for what you need, and only what you need so we give you the opportunity to upgrade your website and to take advantage of additional features you may need or want on your website.

Once you have created your workspace access the "My Account - Site Upgrades" menu item to add these items to your website. 

Library Space Upgrades

Your website has a media library where you can upload photos, video, documents and other files for download.   When you sign up for .geographical media you get 1 GB of space in your library for free.  You can purchase more space for your library at the following prices:

• 1 GB for 12 Euro/year (1.00/month)
• 5 GB for 48 Euro/year (4.00/month)
• 10 GB fo 80 Euro/year (6.60/month)

Send Newsletter

A powerful marketing tool to inform your users about your latest products, news and developments.  Design your newsletter however you want and drop a "sign up for our newsletter" feature onto your page.

Publish News and Articles on the News Media Channel

Articles published using the News media type are given added credibility and are presented differently on the .geographical media network.  If you are a newspaper, magazine, or serious publisher providing information about the events of today consider upgrading to the News media type.  Your content will be search optimized for "news" and will be given higher credibility as representing what is happening in the world today. 

Businesses may also take advantage of the News mediatype to publish press releases or other events.

Private Branding

If you or your business is sensitive about branding you may remove the .geographical media (explore geo) link and all outbound network links from your site. Enabling your site to be completely private branded.

Upgrades for Real Estate Professionals

The .geographical media network is particularly well suited for real estate companies or agents who want to run a website exposing propery listings.  We have created great tools for highlighting your properties, and ensuring that you get maximum exposure of your listings. 

Property Listings

Each listing is considered as a separate media item and will generate traffic to your site from the network.  No other system on the web provides this type of "real world" targetted exposure for your business and its properties.  We charge for this service based on the number of listings you wish to publish. 

• list 5 properties for 15 Euro/year (1.50/month)
• list 75 properties for 180 Euro/year  (15/month)
• list 150 properties for 300 Euro/year  (25/month)
• list 300 properties for 450 Euro/year (37.50/month)

Listing upgrades are cumulative.  You can purchase one 75 property listing and one 5 property listing to list 80.
